Andrew Lynford

ANDREW LYNFORD has worked as an actor, director, producer, writer and casting director in his native UK and here in Los Angeles.He has worked on productions in the West End and regional, including in recent times, shows as diverse as ‘Hamlet’ with Sir Ian McKellen and ‘Heathers – The Musical’!Here in LA, Andrew ran the casting department at Center Theatre Group for three years, working with The Mark Taper Forum, The Ahmanson Theatre & The Kirk Douglas Theatre, as well as workshops and readings with new writers. Other LA theatre includes The Garry Marshall, The Matrix, Laguna Playhouse and The Wallis Annenberg as director and in casting. He has been associated with shows which have been Tony, Ovation, BAFTA, Olivier and Artios winners and nominees. Along side casting film, theatre and television, Andrew continues to direct and educate, and has enjoyed relationships with USC, AMDA and East LA College. As an actor of profile for many years in the UK, he was lucky enough to be nominated for quite a number of awards for his work, and although he didn’t win many, he always lost out to some wonderful artistes!
