Troy Rintala

Troy’s educational credits include serving as the director of American Musical Theatre of San Jose’s Theatre Arts Conservatory, and currently as dance faculty at The Lee Strasberg Institute and at AMDA College of Performing Arts in Hollywood.

Troy has assisted in casting with numerous professional theatres across the country, including American Musical Theatre and the Walt Disney Company. An award winning choreographer, Troy has choreographed for regional theatres across the country, including the world premiere of “Christmas Dreamland” for American Musical Theatre of San Jose, in which he co-created, and choreographed.

Troy’s Broadway National tour credits include “Song and Dance” with Broadway director Robert Longbottom, “On Your Toes” directed by George Abbott with Tony award winner Natalia Makarova, “42nd Street” directed by Mark Bramble and Radio City Music Hall’s “Disney Summer Magic.” Company credits include working with Agnes DeMille and American Ballet Theatre’s “The Informer”, State of Alabama Ballet (premiere with Mikhail Baryshnikov), The Connecticut Ballet(with Fernando Bujones) and The American Tap Dance Orchestra (with Savion Glover.) International tours include Susan Stroman’s “Crazy for You”, 42nd Street, My One and Only, Tokyo Disney, and the Berlin premiere of
Lincoln Center’s “Anything Goes”.
