DESCRIPTION:Students completing the One-Year Conservatory submit a retake of the material they submitted for their New Student Review self-tape in term 1 to see their growth. Students also have the option to submit an additional tape with a new material choice (60-90 seconds).  \n\n\n\nAll new submissions will be viewed at the One-Year Conservatory Self-Tape Culmination by David Lee Strasberg and other invited guests\, which may include The Institute’s Head of Talent\, faculty\, agents\, managers and/or casting directors. The One-Year Conservatory Culmination will also feature side-by-side viewings of selected submissions of the original and new takes to provide feedback and specific notes and critiques on areas of growth. DESCRIPTION:The Institute holds a Scene Night at the end of each term that features five available scene slots and is open to Strasberg students\, staff\, faculty and invited guests. \n\n\n\nStudents in their final term of the Two-Year Conservatory are guaranteed a spot and must present a staged and costumed scene (4-7 minutes) which will be evaluated. Remaining scene slots are open to all students to submit for and will be selected via a lottery-system. DESCRIPTION:Students completing the One-Year Conservatory must submit a retake of the material they submitted for their New Student Review self-tape in term 1. Students will also have the option to submit an additional tape with a new material choice (60-90 seconds).  \n\n\n\nAll new submissions will be viewed at the One-Year Conservatory Self-Tape Culmination by David Lee Strasberg and other invited guests\, which may include The Institute’s Head of Talent\, faculty\, agents\, managers and/or casting directors. The One-Year Conservatory Culmination will also feature side-by-side viewings of selected submissions of the original and new takes to provide feedback and specific notes and critiques on areas of growth. DESCRIPTION:The Institute holds a Scene Night at the end of each term that features five available scene slots.  \n\n\n\nStudents in their final term of the Two-Year Conservatory are guaranteed a spot and must present a staged and costumed scene (4-7 minutes) which will be evaluated. Remaining scene slots are open to all students to submit for and will be selected via a lottery-system. DESCRIPTION: Scene Lab is designed as a space for students to workshop and rehearse scenes from class. Students are eligible to participate in Scene Lab after they have completed at least one term. (New students are not eligible to present scenes). Scene work must be for a Strasberg Institute class (Method Acting\, Scene Study or Acting for TV/Film). The Scene Lab will be run by Creative Director\, Sasha Krane. \n\n\n\nAll participants must submit their Rehearsal Procedure report for their scene in order to participate. The Scene Lab’s primary focus will be on story\, and funneling into mask and need\, and eventually into blocking.

DESCRIPTION:All new students must submit a scene or monologue self tape midway through their first 12-Week term. The new students then gather to review their self tapes with David Strasberg to receive notes on their performance\, as well as guidance for their continued training.
