DESCRIPTION:Advanced 1-day workshops taught by David Lee Strasberg\, designed for experienced Method Actors to continue their training. Offered one Saturday per month\, 11:00am – 3:30pm PST. Saturday Method Labs are open to current students\, alumni\, and guests. New or prospective students may attend in an observation capacity only. For more information contact molly@strasberg.edu. \n\n\n\nThe Method Lab focuses on specificity and relaxation\, the transfer of sensory work into action (movement and vocal expression) and scenes focusing on identifying circumstances.

SUMMARY:One-Year Conservatory Self-Tape Culmination
DESCRIPTION:Students completing the One-Year Conservatory submit a retake of the material they submitted for their New Student Review self-tape in term 1 to see their growth. Students also have the option to submit an additional tape with a new material choice (60-90 seconds).  \n\n\n\nAll new submissions will be viewed at the One-Year Conservatory Self-Tape Culmination by David Lee Strasberg and other invited guests\, which may include The Institute’s Head of Talent\, faculty\, agents\, managers and/or casting directors. The One-Year Conservatory Culmination will also feature side-by-side viewings of selected submissions of the original and new takes to provide feedback and specific notes and critiques on areas of growth. SUMMARY:Scene Night: Two-Year Conservatory Culmination
DESCRIPTION:The Institute holds a Scene Night at the end of each term that features five available scene slots and is open to Strasberg students\, staff\, faculty and invited guests. \n\n\n\nStudents in their final term of the Two-Year Conservatory are guaranteed a spot and must present a staged and costumed scene (4-7 minutes) which will be evaluated. Remaining scene slots are open to all students to submit for and will be selected via a lottery-system. Students\, see the FAQ for more details. \n\n\n\nSummer 2025 Two-Year Conservatory Culminating students feature: Ernesto Rodriguez \n\n\n\nOpen to invited guests including Artistic Director\, David Strasberg\, in the Sontag Stage.
