Paul’s first play REALLY REALLY ran Off-Broadway to glowing reviews at MCC Theater. The plays starred Zosia Mamet and Matt Lauria, and was directed by David Cromer. REALLY REALLY garnered Paul a 2013 Helen Hayes New Playwright Award. Paul’s play PRIDE IN THE FALLS premiered in 2013 at the Signature Theatre (Virginia) starring Christine Lahti. Entertainment Weekly listed Paul as one of the Next Wave of New Hollywood writers to watch. In 2013 the New York Times ran a feature article on Paul. Paul developed a one-hour pilot for ABC, executive produced by Shonda Rhimes. Prior to that, he developed a pilot with ABC Family. Paul is currently writing on staff for Ryan Murphy’s HBO drama “Open.”
