LSTFI SUMMER PROGRAMS

10-WEEK PROGRAM (18+)

LSTFI’s traditional 12-Week Program runs for 10 weeks in the summer months (12-Weeks at 22 hours/week turns to 10-Weeks at 26 hours/week). Students design their own schedules and can choose between full-time (26 hours/week) and part-time study (8-16 hours/week). Students also have the option to extend their studies and register for additional 12-Week terms in Fall, Winter, or Spring.

Classes are conducted Monday through Friday in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. All programs include two 4-hour-long Method Acting classes. A variety of additional electives are offered including Voice, Movement, Theatre History, Acting on Camera, Improvisation, and more.

Admission is rolling, but class registration is first come first serve. As classes fill up quickly, students are recommended to apply as early as possible.

SUMMER ACTING INTENSIVES (18+)

LSTFI offers two- and four-week acting intensives in Spring and Summer. These intensives are designed to introduce both new and experienced actors to Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting technique. The curriculum is pre-set and always includes two 4-hour Method Acting classes per week, in addition to a focused selection of elective classes. All classes are taught by our seasoned LSTFI faculty.

YOUNG ACTORS AT STRASBERG (GRADES 5–12)

In addition to Saturday, After-School, and Online classes during the traditional school year, The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute offers summer day camps and intensives for students in grades 5–12. These Monday – Friday summer programs are designed to encompass students at all levels and provide foundational training in Lee Strasberg’s world renowned Method Acting technique.

ONLINE CLASSES (18+)

LSTFI offers online acting courses, masterclasses, and intensives year round. Online classes are ideal for actors with busy schedules, or students who would like to try Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting without relocating to New York or Los Angeles. Classes are held on zoom and open to students worldwide.
