
LA Application Deadlines
LOS ANGELES APPLICATION DEADLINES
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications prior to the application deadlines. Deadlines are set in order to allow sufficient time to process applications and, for international applicants, to obtain their required M-1 or F-1 student visa for study.
Admissions decisions are made on a rolling basis. Decisions letters for the Associate of Occupational Studies (AOS) Degree Program will be issued on or around the following dates: March 6 • April 2 • May 7 • June 4 • July 9 • August 13 • September 3
Please note, the 2-Week Intensive has no set application deadline. Applications are rolling and the program closes when it reaches maximum capacity.
DOMESTIC APPLICANT DEADLINES
Domestic applicants should submit their applications no less than 2 weeks prior to the desired session start date.
AOS Degree Application Deadline: August 15
AOS enrollment is limited. Apply early to avoid being waitlisted.
Green card holders, international applicants holding a visa status that permits study, and Canadian citizens are subject to domestic deadlines.
INTERNATIONAL APPLICANT DEADLINES
International students should submit their applications no less than 6 weeks prior to the desired session start date.
Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications at least 8 weeks in advance.
AOS Degree Application Deadline: August 1
AOS enrollment is limited. Apply early to avoid being waitlisted.
International applicants are all applicants who must obtain a SEVIS form I-20 from The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles in order to obtain a student visa (M-1 Visa for 12-Week, One- or Two-Year Conservatory Programs and an F-1 Visa for AOS Degree Program). Canadian applicants may adhere to Domestic application deadlines as the student visa is obtained at the border upon entry.
