Sam Levinson’s new teen drama Euphoria has taken HBO by storm. Just this month, the show has been renewed for a second season. The Strasberg alum is one of the many major names behind the project: written, produced and co-directed by Levinson, executive produced by Drake and starring Zendaya. The series seeks to explore the honest, unglamorous world of teenage drugs and sex. In this interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Levinson discusses his personal connection to the subject, the reasoning behind a show filled with graphic content and how he hopes the shows starts a conversation.
