YOUNG ACTORS AUDITION PREP

2-WEEK COLLEGE AUDITION PREP (ONLINE)

Held entirely on Zoom, this two-week intensive is designed to equip high school students with the tools and confidence needed for successful college auditions. Students will unpack the essential components of the audition process, including headshots, resumes, pre-screens, and school-specific material requirements.

With individualized guidance, each student will select two monologues tailored to their strengths and audition needs — whether they require contrasting comedic and dramatic pieces, contemporary and classical pieces, or other school-specific materials. Students may also bring pre-selected material to workshop and refine their performance.

Through script analysis, acting exercises, and detailed coaching, students will develop polished, dynamic audition pieces. The course culminates in a mock audition, allowing students the opportunity to practice slating and responding to on-the-spot adjustments — preparing them to enter the audition room with confidence.
