On May 5, 2017 Sally Field gave a talk at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. After working and training with Lee Strasberg, The Method has been instrumental to her life and career.

StrasbergTALKS: Vincent D’Onofrio

After teaching a week long masterclass, Vincent D’Onofrio gave a talk on February 10, 2017. He explains the way that he teaches his classes, disclaimers of his classes and created a conversational atmosphere with the audience. While going through his own process he demonstrates the process that he uses, directly taken from Strasberg Method.

StrasbergTALKS: Eric Falkenstein

Eric Falkenstein, Tony-Award Winning Broadway producer, gave a StrasbergTALK on April 16, 2016. He was able to give many insights into the industry and answer questions that actors had about how to get work.

On May 9, 2014, Estelle Parsons, Actor’s Studio Alum and longtime friend and student of Lee Strasberg, gave a StrasbergTalk about her experiences with Lee and using ‘The Method.’

On February 15, 2011, Karen Allen came to the Strasberg Institute to give a talk and answer questions about acting and the film industry. She lead an insightful and inspiring talk, discussing acting and The Method throughout her own career.

On December 10, 2009, Strasberg Alumna Jennifer Esposito gave a talk about the importance of the Method to her career. She cites George Loros and Irma Sandrey as two of the most influential teachers for her.

As news of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop, we wanted to take time to reassure our community that The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is monitoring circumstances on a regular basis. We are committed to the well-being and education of our students, faculty and staff. Following in step as other universities and schools, we have transitioned to holding classes remotely in ways that are meaningful.

The Spring 2020 term will begin on April 20th.

These are unique times worthy of serious thought and implementing measures of caution. We trust that our Community will, as always, join together, to find new ways to collaborate, innovate, and continue doing the work we care so deeply about.
