SUMMER PROGRAMS 2023
INSTITUTE ADULT PROGRAMS (HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES, AGES 18+)
Summer at Strasberg provides adult students with several options to study Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting technique. Students may enroll in a comprehensive 10-Week term (part-time and full-time options available), or partake in an ambitious 2- or 4-Week Intensive. Each of these programs are designed for actors of all experience levels. International Students who are on a summer break and are returning to college in the fall are eligible to study in any summer program.
SUMMER 10-WEEK PROGRAM
June 26 – September 1, 2023
Our 12-Week Program runs for 10-Weeks in the summer months (12-Weeks at 22 hours/week equals 10-Weeks at 26 hours/week). The summer schedule is designed for both beginners wishing to explore The Lee Strasberg Method™ and professionals looking to brush up on their technique. Classes are conducted Monday through Friday, mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Students can choose between full-time (26 hours/week) or part-time options (8-16 hours/week) and have the option to register for additional 12-Week Terms in Fall, Winter, or Spring.
The Summer 10-Week session class schedule will be announced at the end of May. All programs include two 4-hour-long Method Acting classes. A variety of additional electives will be offered including Voice, Movement, Theatre History, Acting on Camera, Improvisation and more.
Applications for summer are open now. There is no deadline to apply, but class registration is first come first serve and classes will fill up quickly. It is recommended to apply as early as possible.
