3 Actresses Grace the Off-Broadway Stages as well as Ang Lee’s Upcoming New Film

Strasberg LA alumna Laura Lundy Wheale has done multiple projects including one where she starred as Kristen Stewart’s older sister in the film Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, directed by Ang Lee. Impressed by her work, Lee invited her to audition for his new film. Although what she describes as an almost “frustrating” experience, Lee loved her audition and she booked the role! As the creator, writer and main actress, The Other Mozart’s Sylvia Milo has been making quite a stir in the Off-Broadway circuits. The Other Mozart is a one woman show about Mozart’s sister who traveled the world and also performed with him but her story was less known. The elaborate costume dress is full of letters from the Mozart family that takes a hilarious and ingenious account of the protagonist’s life story. The show has four other actresses in rotation including Jody Christopherson, Samantha Hoefer and Daniela Galli. This show has started on September 23rd and ends November 12th at the Players Theatre in downtown Manhattan.

Starting in late October this play examines the inequalities of the workplace in a humorous and truthful way.
