Synopsis: This play was written in 1907. Raymonde Chandebise is worried that her husband, Victor Emmanuel, is being unfaithful so she and her best friend, Lucielle, create a plot to test him. Lucielle writes him a letter asking him to meet a mysterious woman at a promiscuous hotel. Eventually Lucielle’s husband and Victor’s best friend become involved and chaos ensues when all the characters meet at the hotel.
