Marcel Simoneau

Marcel Simoneau is originally from Luceville, Quebec, and studied in New York as an actor. His latest short film, Lurker (producer, director, screenwriter, actor), was recently accepted at Cannes 2017’s Short Film Corner, Hollyshorts and NY Shorts Fest and is currently running in Festivals. His 2016 film Like, Totally Hot Couple Seeking Same (producer, director, actor) CineKink NYC (Best Comedic Short), NY Shortfest, Emerge Film Festival, Dam Short Film Festival (Best Screenplay), Mountain of Laughs Film Festival, Another Independent Film Festival), Is currently touring the Festivals and won Best Comedic short last week at CineKink NYC and Best Screenplay at Dam Short Film Fest. His 2016 film Sarah Is Not Her Name (producer, actor) (Cannes Short Film Corner, NY Short Fest, Chelsea Film Festival, HollyShorts, Nitehawk Film Festival, Sidney Lift-Off Film Festival, The Williamsburg Film Festival). He has also made several music videos and web series. As an actor, he appeared in the films: The Rebound, Imperialists are Still Alive, Horizon, Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Stranger, Kinsey, Seduction, Meridian. On TV: Gotham, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Fringe, Law & Order, Ed and Strangers with Candy. Marcel has also performance in numerous Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway shows including My First Time for a year and a half. He can also be heard in numerous VO commercials in French, Spanish and English.
