PART-TIME ACTING PROGRAMS IN NYC
PART-TIME PROGRAMS (DOMESTIC STUDENTS ONLY)
Part-time programs at LSTFI in New York City offer flexible scheduling, allowing students to study Lee Strasberg’s Method Acting technique according to their needs and availability. Students may study part-time each semester, with the option to alternate between part-time and full-time enrollment. The program allows flexibility in the hours taken term to term; for example, a student might register for 8 hours in the Fall, 12 hours in the Winter, and 14 hours in the Spring.
ELIGIBILITY & MINIMUM HOURS:
New students must enroll for a minimum of 8 hours (two Method Acting classes with different teachers) and may add on additional two or four-hour classes.
2-Year Conservatory alumni are eligible to study part-time and may register for a minimum of 2-hour classes a la carte.
SAG-AFTRA card holders, who have never studied at The Institute, can take a minimum of one 4-hour Method Acting class a week and are permitted to add on additional classes as desired. SAG-AFTRA members are eligible for a discount.
Once a student registers, the administration will send a notification for the program’s Orientation Date. Orientation attendance is mandatory for new students.
