Tye Alexander worked professionally in the entertainment industry for over two decades. He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in NYC with legends like George Loros, Hope Arthur, Elizabeth Kemp, and others. As well as continued studies and guidance from inspirational icons such as Joanne Linville and Risa Bramon-Garcia, in addition to most recent much-respected mentors like Lola Cohen.
Tye is also one of the original members of Pride of Gypsies Production Company (founded by Jason Momoa & Brian Andrew Mendoza.)
Outside of artistic endeavors he has proudly served as a police officer, firefighter, EMT, and earned a letter of commendation from the Secret Service. He remains a steadfast resilient advocate for equality, diversity, inclusion, empowerment, safety, and social justice. His mottos include “Courage equals freedom, you define you” & “Scar tissue is the character that helps define us”. He believes storytelling is imperative to the authenticity of our history and passionately supports projects that illuminate, inspire, challenge and foster change.
