Sisters Melissa and Liz have had a strained relationship over the years, but especially since the death of their father three years ago. How each of them cope with that loss affects the other and the men in their lives, Melissa’s fiance Eric and Liz’s husband Paul. The relationships hit a new level of urgency and crisis as what is supposed to be a casual dinner progresses into an evening of hard knocks, revelations and confessions as witnessed by the Pizza Man who unexpectedly ends up spending the evening with the troubled couples. WINE AND PIZZA is an examination of the human spirit during one family’s heartache, dysfunction, and survival.
